Many public power entities want to protect their customers from rising transmission costs while also meeting the increasing demand for power and integrating new resources.

Leaders at the Department of Energy have said that these technologies are a top priority in the last round of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law grid funding. Speakers will discuss how public power transmission owners can fund their own deployments and how transmission-dependent utilities can push for grid modernization.
