Patrick Smith

Patrick was instrumental in establishing IGS Solar in 2014, as a division of IGS. He now assists in setting IGS Solar’s sales strategy and leads business development efforts nationwide. With his leadership, IGS Solar is now a consistent top 10 developer in the U.S., and its portfolio has grown to include over $200 million in commercial and energy provider assets across 20 states, with some of the most prestigious customers in the world. Notably, Patrick developed a 4MW landfill solar project near Cleveland, OH, which was awarded Solar Builder’s 2019 Project of the Year. Patrick has extensive experience in renewable energy, corporate sales, electrical contracting, operations, and management consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ohio University.
