Jay Stowe, the Managing Director and CEO of Florida public power utility JEA, was recently named a 2023 Ultimate CEO Honoree by the Jacksonville Business Journal.
“It is an honor to be recognized, but this award is in large part because of the great team we have at JEA helping to build community in NE Florida,” said Stowe.
The Jacksonville Business Journal noted that in 2023 the Ultimate CEO award was bestowed on 25 individuals who have led their companies to success through times of challenge and of growth.
“Selected by the Business Journal with the input of local business leaders, these honorees stand as an example of leadership in the Jacksonville area,” the Jacksonville Business Journal said.
Stowe was named JEA’s Managing Director and CEO in November 2020 and has served in the not-for-profit utility sector for more than 25 years.
