Public Power Energy Storage Maturity Model Framework Report

This report details the development of the Public Power Energy Storage Maturity Model, which is a tool to empower the public power community to effectively plan for and deploy energy storage projects.

The maturity model comprises a set of questions and tools to determine the degree to which the utility is capable of successfully planning and executing energy storage projects. Members of the public power Energy Storage Working Group participated in facilitated assessments to test and refine the model. The report summarizes the results of these initial assessments and how well they can guide public power utilities toward implementing improvements in their energy storage planning, execution, and management capabilities.
