Colorado Springs Utilities Hosts 10th OSHA Training Institute Class

Colorado Springs Utilities recently hosted its 10th Occupational Safety and Health Administration Training Institute class.

“This milestone is a testament to our talented Safety & Health team and the dedication of hundreds of employees across our organization,” the utility said.

In a relationship going back more than 15 years, “OSHA has recognized the unique benefits of our integrated services and centrally-located electric system for safety training,” the utility said.

“We welcomed 17 OSHA students and 2 instructors, offering them hands-on experiences with our power plants, substations, overhead and underground electric lines, and more.”

“Safety is always the top priority at CSU. It is great to be able to continue to support OSHA’s training institute and their efforts around safety in our industry,” said Travas Deal, CEO of Colorado Springs Utilities, in a LinkedIn post related to the class.
