DEED Webinar: Community Tree Planting to Mitigate AC Loads by Snohomish County

In this webinar, Snohomish County PUD will provide an overview of their community tree planting program—program structure, methodology, technology, and results—and its impact in reducing AC loads. Additionally, Snohomish will walk through how other public power utilities can scale their own community tree planting programs to produce meaningful results. With support from DEED, Snohomish designed and implemented a community tree planting program to reduce AC loads by engaging with their customers and communities, including creating a community tree planting fund and a competitive funding program to support local tree planting projects.
