The American Public Power Association’s Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments program recently approved funding for various grants and scholarships.
The action took place at DEED’s Spring 2025 meeting held in Sacramento, CA, on April 2 and 3.
The total figure for projects was $546,487. The breakdown is as follows:
• $488,487 for 6 grant projects.
• $52,000 for 13 student internship projects.
• $6,000 for 3 educational scholarship projects.
The DEED program funds research, pilot projects, and education to improve the operations and services of public power utilities.
