To further assist with advocacy efforts to help address transformer supply chain shortages, APPA is asking utility and joint action agency to participate in a quick survey about the environment around distribution transformer shortages and other supply chain challenges.
APPA is encouraging utilities and joint action agencies to complete its short Supply Chain Distribution Transformer Constraints Survey by Monday, November 25.
Responses will help APPA illustrate the effects of supply chain disruption of distribution transformers for public power utilities specifically, as well as help with broader conversations around the industry’s resilience posture as work continues to identify short-, mid-, and long-term solutions to this complex issue.
