APPA Seeks Nominations for Smart Energy Provider Review Panel

APPA is seeking nominations for one open position on the Smart Energy Provider (SEP) Program Review Panel.

The SEP Review Panel is comprised of 12 subject-matter experts from public power utilities. 

The Panel guides APPA staff in the implementation of the program and provides expert peer review of public power utilities’ applications for the SEP designation. Learn more about eligibility, responsibilities, and criteria for selection by accessing the nomination form.

The Smart Energy Provider program recognizes utilities with leading practices in four areas – smart energy program planning, energy efficiency and distributed energy resources, environmental and sustainability programs, and customer communication and education.

SEP designations help public power utilities benchmark their work against industry best practices.
