The American Public Power Association has formed a short-term member working group to help draft a response to a Request for Information that was issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Review Council.

The Council, which was created by the President in January, is seeking public feedback on experiences working with FEMA during a disaster. Responses to the RFI are due by May 15.
Members of the working group have been asked to participate in at least one virtual meeting to discuss key points that should be included in the APPA RFI response, which may include suggestions for improving FEMA policies/programs.
The group will also be asked to review a draft of the APPA RFI response that will be developed based on notes from the virtual meeting.
