Vennela Yadhati, Vice President for Renewable Project Development at the New York Power Authority, has been recognized on the list of Trailblazers in Clean Energy by City & State New York.
The state’s public renewables law passed last year created the job that Vennela Yadhati started in October 2023, City & State New York noted.
Yadhati is NYPA’s first vice president for renewable project development.
In this role, Yadhati is tasked with developing NYPA’s new strategic plan for the development of new renewable energy projects as part of the state’s ambitious clean energy transformation, City & State New York said.
Yadhati has worked on renewable energy project development both within NYPA and in the private sector.
