A free physical security workshop scheduled for late September in Illinois will offer utilities the opportunity to discuss the current threat landscape, mitigation strategies, and lessons learned.
Goals and objectives of the Sept. 25 workshop include:
- Share information and build trusted relationships
- Identify mitigation strategies and leading practices
- Learn about available resources to reduce risk
APPA is one of the sponsoring organizations for the workshop that is being led by the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC).
Registration is free and is open to utilities, select government and law enforcement partners.
