CMA’s electrical team specializes in the design of power systems for electric utilities, campuses, and facilities of industrial and institutional clients that support the construction, maintenance and expansion of utility systems for both public and private utility clients. Our electrical engineers and designers have decades of industry experience. As a result, CMA engineers approach transmission and distribution lines, substations, protective relaying and control systems, and solar generation systems design with informed consideration of operational and maintenance concerns.
CMA’s focus for every construction project is to bring value and assisting the team to successfully construct a project that meets the expectations of the Owner and the public. The health, safety and welfare of the public is at the forefront of every project CMA designs and serves in the role of construction engineering inspection (CEI) or construction administration. At CMA, our engineers work very closely with the in-house inspectors, allowing a different point of view when interpreting construction documents. Considerable experience has been gained due to the fact that all engineers involved in infrastructure design have had field experience performing construction management services. The lessons learned in the field are incorporated into each design, and the engineers have the knowledge to make educated decisions about the acceptability of the work. CMA strongly believes in its operational procedures in the field via detailed reports, communications, and technology. This effort is supported by a robust Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. Aside from CEI, CMA offers our constructability review services to identify key concerns prior to our projects to our clients mitigate risk.
