The City of Dover Electric Department (Dover or The City) is a city-owned utility system in Dover, Delaware. The electric department is responsible for the reliability of the electric system as well as the engineering, construction, and maintenance of the electric infrastructure.

Dover is seeking proposals to augment its generation resources for full attribute solar power purchase agreements (PPA) with a near-term commercial operation date (COD). Dover seeks to procure energy, capacity, and renewable energy credits (REC) that qualify as solar renewable energy credits (SREC). Dover is seeking projects that can deliver capacity into the DPL-South zone.
