The California Energy Commission’s Demand Side Grid Support program has successfully enrolled 515 megawatts of capacity, with over 265,000 participants “contributing to the state's efforts to maintain a clean, reliable energy grid during extreme climate-driven events,” the CEC said on Oct. 14.

Kairos Power and Google have signed a Master Plant Development Agreement, creating a path to deploy a U.S. fleet of advanced nuclear power projects totaling 500 megawatts by 2035, the companies said on Oct. 14.
